If I wasn't ten, Think again, of what I could do.
I could get a rock or dye a sock or get a clock cuckoo!
If I wasn't ten, I could dissect, a platypus or bug,
I could fly through space and win a race and knit a darling shrug!
But as I'm ten, I'll make amends with my sad fate,
That because I'm ten, (I'm sad again) I'll just have to wait!
Note: All the things I wish I could do I really wish I could do!
How I, a quintesential suburban girl, went on a wild adventure, led by God, and how it influenceed my life.

A gift from God
After we went to church, one Sunday morning, we decided to go to a lovely little grocery store called Trader Joe's. Now Trader Joe's has great plants all year round, orchids, basil, tulips, you name it, and the great thing is that all of their plants look perfect. Well, when we were at the check-out, I saw a beautiful orchid at the window. I had seen them there when we arrived, and I wanted one like crazy, but they were expensive. Just as I could no longer stand it, a strong gust of wind rammed into the row of orchids and with a crash, a lovely purple orchid fell to the ground. A lady quickly came to pick them up and when she was about to throw away the orchid, I asked if I could buy it. "I'll give it to you as a gift," she said and gave it to me. I suppose God does look out for you, not just our needs, even (sometimes) for our wants!

Evil Evening
I came home from school,
One ugly rainy day,
It was cool,
(and I was no fool)
so I did not go out to play.
My mom called me
and Oh glee!
She let me make a cake!
I loved so, and Ho Ho!
It took so long to bake.
And while it it did bake,
Use of my time I did make,
I decided to watch TV,
But then, Woe is me!
Oh man! Oh Fern!
I got myself a big humungus burn!
Let us not go into details for they are gross,
And while in pain, my skin did roast,
But then still,
I could not take a pill,
For out of the oven the cake goes,
But my dear,at school you will hear,
Of my perrilous woes.
That is a long story short of how I got my painful burn of
which I am now suffering from. I would positively say
that tonight was an evil evening.

A Few Helpful Ways to Save a Plant From Death
- Light Make sure your plant is in a good place for its amount of light needs. If it is a shade loving plant move into the shade and out of the sun. The same with the sun loving plants but switched.
- Water Is your plant a desert plant that dies if it gets too much water? Is your plant a plant that die sif it gets too little water? These questions need to be answered for each palnt before you own them. I have killed many a plant by over watering just as my Mom had by too little. Pay close attention to how much water is nessesary.
- Soil Make sure your soil is the right kind for your plant. If nessesary give your plant plant food. Make sure that no diseases, bugs, or other bad things are afflicting your plant. I plan to write another article about how to test the richness of your soil.

Good family Movies
Our Family loves movies. The problem is how to find good movies. Here is a list of family movies.
-HACHI,A DOG'S TALE This movie is based on a true story. It is touching, family friendly, but it is so sad. I loved it. Every once in a while you'll find a good movie. make it two whiles and you'll find a great movie. But this movie, is incredible. It is not because of the scenes, not because of the casting(though it is pretty great) it is because that this movie is about a dog who has more loyalty to his master than most of us humans. it is about a dog who loved his master so much that (spoiler warning) he he waited his whole life for him not caring that his master had died.
-UP What makes Up so hilarious and fun to watch? I don't know. All I know is that pixar did it again. The action scenes are slightly more vivid and the characters are more unique. What else can I say about it other than it is a great movie?
-SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHER- Finally I get to write about my all time favorite movie! This movie is part musical part hilarious and all classic. With Howard Keel and Jane Powell, this family classic is the best! It takes place in a newly settled town when the oldest brother of seven backwoodsmen goes into town to try to "trade" for a wife. By his good looks he charms one woman into marrying him on the day they met simply "forgetting" to tell her that he had seven brothers. It goes uphill from there, when Milly, the wife starts "cleaning the boys up" My family is obsessed with this right now and I'm sure you will be to!

Fight for Faith Chapter one
It all started when I came home from school and found my mom, sisters, and all the food, gone. This normaly would not be a problem. I mean, so what if your mom is gone? She could just be shopping for more food. Well my mom had promised that if she went out, a note would be there. I searched, and there was no note. And from the shape of the window curtains, she was kidnapped. O how I would love to say that I called the police and they found my mom and everthing was normal. No. I fainted.
I woke up an hour later with an ice pack on my head. The apartment manager was looking down at me, his face creasedwith concern. "You've been out for an hour, Jon. An Hour!" I got up. My head spinning. "My motheris gone." I said, trying to ignore the lump in my throat and the throbbing in my head. "I know." The manager whispered. "I searched the place for a note. Nothing." Then a knock sounded and we were interupted.
It was a girl, and she had long honey-brown hair that rippled as she walked. "Come." She said simply, and I followed. She walked to the old abandoned church and stopped about a foot in front of the ruins.
she was about to walk in when I yelled, "Stop! I demand an explanation!" She turned to look at me. "Don't you think that I am giving out such little information for a reason? Please don't say a word until we are inside the church." With that, she turned, opened the door, and walked through. I followed. I expected to the the usual stuff, pews, torn up bibles, that stuff. but I was so surprised when I saw a desert instead of the inside of a church.
"Okay, we're inside the 'church' and now, you have to tell me what is going on." I said. "Fine she replied. "You just came from the city of destruction. We heading to the tents and upon arriving you will be given the nessesary iteam to be a soldier of the Lord." I was stunned after this mouthful, but the girl talked me in to walking. We walked five more minutes and soon, we cames to an group of tents near a river. "Welcome to the tents, " The girl said. "The preacher will be with you in a moment."
With that, she left me, again. It had been a really odd day, but the girl made it soung like I would be staying here for a while, If so, What would ordinary life be like?
As I was thinking all these things, the door, opened, and a voice said, "Jon, your time has come to meet the preacher."

The wolf in sheep's clothing
Among the herd he sneak,
Low to the ground he did creep,
Nobody knew how or when,
or if he would come again.
The wolf would use his silent blow,
Instant death for any foe,
Foe would suffer grim defeat,
Losing life without a say or bleat.
Jobs and precious sheep at stake,
Many more would he take?
O the treachery, O the loss,
Dosen't he know man is the boss?
Sheperd taketh up his staff,
while all his other neighbors laugh,
But soon the wolf was dead,
And instead of sorrow there was joy instead.
Listen my friends, clothes do decieve,
What's inside do believe.
In your mind let this knowledge stay,
So the wolf does not take you away.
Low to the ground he did creep,
Nobody knew how or when,
or if he would come again.

The Attack of the Barbarians: Part two
"Let's just kill the Barb- what so evers and then rescue the princess!" cried Shockman. Shockma was the strongest of the knights, but his amount of knowledge was the lowest in all the kingdom. The wisemen just nodded and stoked their beards. Finally, Simeon, the head council member, (of whom had supposed equality in knowledge with Serlan), rose, still stroking his beard, and said, "Now Norman," (for so was shockman's real name,) "Is that the was to rescue the princess?" Shockman (aka Norman) growled at being called by his real name. "I suggest we should try the course of defense before the course of offense. Why don't we cover the walls in mud? Then the Barbarians will be afraid of it and we will be victorious! Mud is made of paint, cherries, milk, and tomatoes, but potatoes will be good enough, for tomatoes are the same thing as potatoes."
Every body clapped as Simeon sat down, stroking his beard quickly, for exitment."Let's Begin right away!" cried Lupus.
