The Attack of the Barbarians: Part two

"Let's just kill the Barb- what so evers and then rescue the princess!" cried Shockman. Shockma was the strongest of the knights, but his amount of knowledge was the lowest in all the kingdom. The wisemen just nodded and stoked their beards. Finally, Simeon, the head council member, (of whom had supposed equality in knowledge with Serlan), rose, still stroking his beard, and said, "Now Norman," (for so was shockman's real name,) "Is that the was to rescue the princess?" Shockman (aka Norman) growled at being called by his real name. "I suggest we should try the course of defense before the course of offense. Why don't we cover the walls in mud? Then the Barbarians will be afraid of it and we will be victorious! Mud is made of paint, cherries, milk, and tomatoes, but potatoes will be good enough, for tomatoes are the same thing as potatoes."
Every body clapped as Simeon sat down, stroking his beard quickly, for exitment."Let's Begin right away!" cried Lupus.

Riddle two

I am strong, I am a home.
And outside of me, animals roam.
My wooden body stands day, by day.
No matter how many neighbors move away.

Seventy- Seven Hard Jobs to Do

I got one of seventy –seven jobs done.
I’m telling you it’s not so fun.
I’m sure GOD’S got a job for you.
But I’ve still got a lot more jobs to do.

I’ve still got a lot more jobs to do.
But I’m still doing the jobs for you.
At night when the days are done,
I don’t think about how fun it will be
When I can start being me.

I’ve still got a lot to do.
I still working hard for you.
I admit I do often say,
“Oh, what a boring day!”

There is so much to think and say.
I barley think about the days.
I’m learning how to work and do
Things that are very hard to do.

The days are almost done
It seems as if they had just begun.
I think I’m starting to enjoy
Work, that I once wanted to destroy.

Days come and go.
I wish they would go more slow.
I don’t think I’m going to last
because days are going too fast.

The work is done, tis true,
But I still really want to be with you,
I don’t know what I’m going to do,
But I’ll still trust in you.
maybe I'll do some work, too.

How I Dislike Green Leaves

The thing I hate most about them is that they green!
And sometimes I wonder, "Could I be seen?
With these awful little monsters, whose scalp is but bare,
I don't care for their apperance, but for mine I do care"
But I do like red leaves, that's why I didn't destroy,
Those hippies, those mongrels, those ugly green toys!

(P.S I don't like toys either)

(P.P.S Beware, another poem, on the subject of toys, is on the way!)

A few of my favorite reads are......................

The Little White Horse: I dearly love this book becaus it is a fairy tale, adventure, and love story, all in one.

The Mysterious Benidict Society: This book I recently discovered. It is full of adventure and unexpected. There are three books in the series.

Great Expectations: It's long words, good storyline, and great characters make the story great.

The Chronicles of Narnia: These stories are fantastic! They are funny, clever, intresting, and they are fun to read for the whole family!

Carry on Mr. Bowditch: This story is quite funny and in my eyes tis a classic.

I hope you someday are able to read one of these!

A Riddle

                                   In tennis, it's nothing,
People have been known to fall in it,
And for this riddle, many don't know were to begin it,
If you dont know this riddle, still have heart,
Even if you don't know were to start.

The Attack of the Barbarians: Part One

Once there was a kingdom called Stapel. it was ruled by a king with the name of Lupus. King Lupus' land was full of brave knights; these knights all had one thing in common; they were practicly all mucle, and they all were very dull, in fact,All of Stapel was very dull. There was only one wise man in their lot, his name was Serlan. He was the great-great grandson of Merlan and the secend cousin of Gandolf, both of which are not mentioned in this this story. Serlan was in fact a wizard, and the best of wizards.Serlan helped King Lupus quite frequently and in many ways. today it was in the subject of war. The princess had just been taken and Lupus was just deciding what to do about it when he recieved a message from Serlan saying that he would be gone a few days on a fishing. Serlan didn't say why he was on a fishing trip in the middle of December, but as Serlan did say when he expected to return, Lupus was satisfied.(I did tell you they were dull) Lupus summoned all they "wiser" members of council, and so the meeting began.
